10,000 hours....

After listening to Macklemore's incredible song 10,000 hours  (regarding art and perfecting your craft), I realized I have reached well over 10,000 hours in Art education & Art therapy in my 13 + years! Proud, amazed and humbled.... This photos is one of the first chairs painted by one of my students in Art2: Art Renewing Teens & Treasures. The non profit that evolved out of my art class.
Art is a powerful medicine, tool, thinking skill, release and I am excited for the next 10,000 hours!!!!! To all those that bring Art to others, SALUTE! Share your 10,000 hours salute....
